Eyes: Sorne's eyes are a smooth brown with a touch of olive, which is really only noticeable when he wears something green or when light is shining directly in his eyes. His iris is completely flawless, maintaining a solid color throughout. Anybody who knows him will tell you that his eyes are completely unreadable, as he's very skilled in keeping others out of his thoughts and emotions. When he brandishes fire, his eyes catch the color of the flames and take on a threatening maroon hue.
Hair: Sorne's hair is perfect, and he is very careful to keep it that way. He inherited his mother's coal black hair, and it does very well to compliment his olive skin. He takes great care in styling it, adding just a touch of gel, into springy peaks, much like licks of flame. He's often given a hard time by his roommates because he takes such a long time to get his hair in place. Sorne doesn't care, though, as long as he ends up looking perfect (which he always does).
Smile: Sorne doesn't smile. Well, okay, he smiles sometimes, but it's so rare that few would know. When he does smile, he usually does so while looking at his feet, an unusually bashful action for such a strong-willed guy. He doesn't like people to think they've pleased him though, because then they might start thinking he was weak or something. Sorne does grin, however. He usually does so with more than a hint of malice, and it's usually done after he wins a duel or makes a joke at another person's expense.
Face: Sorne's face is extremely handsome, or at least he thinks it is. It's oval-ish shaped with a slightly squarer jaw, and each feature of his face is perfectly proportioned. He has large dark eyebrows which frame his eyes attractively, and an on-and-off batch of stubble around his mouth. His lips are a little thin and down turned, making it much easier for him to look displeased without meaning it. He usually means it though.

Physique: Sorne isn't ripped, but he is dayuhm fine! He's a little bit on the scrawny side, seeing as he focuses more on learning to burn people to cinders than on lifting weights, but he does have enough muscle mass to scare off any potential bullies that didn't get the 'I can set you on fire' message. He's very similar to his roommate Dyrk in that he would rather go without a shirt than with one (hey, if you've got it, flaunt it, right?), but as school rules strictly demand...well...clothes he doesn't get as much of a chance of showing off as he would like.

Style: If Sorne had his way, he would dress every day in only a pair of jeans and a nice leather belt. However, that whole students-should-probably-wear-clothes thing gets in the way of his wishes. Instead, he dresses in the best and most flattering clothes he can find on sale at Following Fashion. He's kind of a clothes horse, but his mother always taught him that dressing well was one of the best way to intimidate others. Because face it, who wants to mess with a guy who wears Prada and can throw fire?
Hygiene: For how much of clothes horse he is, Sorne isn't overly concerned with his hygiene. His hair is always in perfect condition, he usually brushes his teeth, and he showers every couple of days so he wont smell or anything, but other than that he doesn't do much. It isn't unusual for him to develop a good patch of stubble because he's forgotten (or just hasn't been bothered) to shave.

//HISTORY//

First Sign of Powers: Sorne first showed his powers on the day when his father left him and his mother. His parents were fighting furiously on the patio in front of the house and Sorne was watching from the doorway. He watched expressionlessly as his father slapped his mother across the face, then stepped out onto the patio. His parents didn't notice him, they were too busy glaring at each other, and he walked right up beside his father, gave him a matching glare, and set his hair on fire. Sorne was eight. He didn't use his powers again until he was twelve, when he started using them often to set things he didn't like on fire. Like the drapes. Or the spinach at dinner.

Favorite Way to Use Powers: Sorne is entirely offensive in the use of his powers. He barely even knows how to put up a small fire barrier to protect himself from the weakest attacks. Instead, he jumps right into the fray with fast bursts of fire from his hands and his mouth, hardly giving opponents enough time to ready themselves for his attacks. The only kind of attacks he's good at avoiding are fire-based ones, which he can just eat easily. Outside of duels, he uses his powers as the designated dormitory fire-lighter, which usually only extends to lighting the dormitory fires, not actually lighting the dormitories on fire. Usually.

History At School: Sorne came into the school with, out of all of his fellow Lamalas, probably the least control over his abilities. He was notorious for reacting strongly towards anything that threatened or angered him, so many students gave him a wide berth. Those that were able to prove that they could be trusted became fast friends with Sorne, and he made a point of trying to make friends with those he thought were more powerful than most others. He frustrates his teachers to no end, though, blowing off most of his work and setting classes at the bottom of his priorities list. He managed to get decent grades, though, mostly with the help of others. The only class that he really excels in is Elemental Magic, mostly due to the raw power he possesses. The biggest part of his life a school is dueling club. He spends most of his time training for upcoming duels and chipping in training those younger students who show exceptional promise.

History With Humans: Sorne doesn't know or care much about humans, seeing them as kind of a nuisance. He considers humans as something on par with an annoying insect he might have to swat off at some time or another. He has a bit of an affinity for half-humans, though, as he sees them as strange and unusual. It also helps that a lot of the half-humans he's met have been very strong in their powers.

Relationship with Family: Sorne's father left him and his mother when Sorne was eight, never to be seen or heard from again. Sorne likes to imagine that his father somehow died of hair-on-fire related complications, but he's pretty sure that his old man is out there somewhere, which is not a comforting thought. Sorne's relationship with his mother, however, is completely spotless. He loves his mother more than anything in the whole world, and he treats her with the all the love and respect she deserves. He's always much less confident around his mother than he is usually. He's absolutely terrified of doing something to alienate himself from her, because then who will he have left?
