History: There came a day after all of Khiyyi's wandering that she decided to settle down. Due to her level of power and her control, she was able to get a job at Aegnor school with little to no problem. The only issue she'd had was that she didn't know how the social crap worked, not that she particularly cared. Just before the start of school, she visited the Ale House and met another teacher, Helena. The two of them got along really well, which was odd seeing as Khiyyi's nature usually had people running the other way. The decided, on a whim (and being pretty drunk at this point) to go exploring the nearby mountainside. Of course, to Khiyyi's dismay, they found themselves lost in an intricate web of caves. She would have died in there if it weren't for Helena's amazing power of light-giving fire. She clung to Helena all the way out and when they were free of the constricting Earth, she let her power explode around her, giving her newly-promoted best friend a great show of her abilities. Khiyyi never stopped trusting Helena after that. It is assumed that even if the other teacher were to stab her, she would continue to trust Helena. It's just how Khiyyi was made.

History: She met Ms. Ecco in her first year, as a young little girl, with absolutely no hold on her power. Because her two powers rarely ever came together, she really did think there was nobody that would understand her -- until she met Ms. Ecco. Guinevere had joined her Alchemy class right at the start of the school year, and she instantly admired her teacher. Maybe she used more of her water-based powers than her fire, whereas Vere was the opposite, but the girl was awed by how powerful Ms. Ecco was. Vere enjoys spending time with her mentor and friend, though she doesn't always give her best in her studies.
What do you think of Helena? "What can I say? I think she's uh-may-zing. Insanely powerful, too -- I got in a mock fight with her once. Oh, that hurt. But she's always so supportive ... even if she gets distracted as often as not. Helena -- I mean, Ms. Ecco, is my role model, I guess. I mean, I look up to her, I want to be like her when I grow up, what with her precise control over her powers. After all, she doesn't make things blow up, does she? Ms. Ecco never goes easy on me, though. I failed a test in her class once -- she wouldn't stop nagging me for, like, a week. But I guess that's also because she's a teacher; but she's awesome anyways. I think there's not a single person who could take her place in my life. After all, she's the one who helped me through some tough times at Aegnor."
