Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows {open to first poster}

Fenris was far from the type to resist sweets. Candy. Whatever you want to call it. Oh no, in fact, this his most frequented shop. Ever. He couldn't help it, the delectable delights just called him forwards, towards them. And that was how it came to be that he was stood with a large bag of them, chocolates, the squishy, chewy long strips that fizz when you eat them, the fluffy, pillowy marshmallows and, of course, the incredibly delectable straws of sherbert. He loved them all. He could quite happily have stayed in The Bear Cave forever. But that would be madness. And so, he paid the cashier for those few, before wandering towards the section where they kept the sweets that influenced powers. Weird, yes. But they actually worked.

He fumbled in the water section, before deciding on some that could make him shoot water from his palms (in a deliciously minty taste), and some that gave people the ability to create ice sculptures. Not exactly a useful power, but a fun one. The air section, now that was something special. There were some that gave the ability to fly (Fenris had once scoffed at them before trying some and feeling himself begin to hover about a foot above the ground), some that could create tornadoes (Fenris could already do that, he refused to be the end of the dorms as people knew them with such sweets) and even some that could send air straight up in a current that blasted from the ground- a very effective shield. And so he dithered for a moment, before realising that the only ones that would make him do anything he couldn't already do were the flying ones (Fly Fantastic, you won't even need to grow wings!), and he didn't feel like hovering at the moment. No other powers really appealed to him (fire and metal both required heat, earth got a little close to the boiling hot core for Fenris' liking). These were the extra expensive candies anyway. This would take a lot of money out of his wallet if he bought too many. On second thoughts, before he got to the cashier once more, he snagged a couple of candy canes, tied with little gold bows (it wasn't even Christmas!).

"That's all thanks..."

Fenris muttered, feeling slightly greedy as he paid for his extra sweets. He lowered his head slightly, brown hair falling itno his green eyes.

Dulais clutched her paper bag of sweets tightly in both of her hands. She knew that it was a completely unfounded fear of hers, but that didn't help the fact that she was a bit terrified of having her perfect pick of candy stolen from her. It had taken her almost a quarter of an hour to pick out the perfect batch of candy for the day, and she had the feeling that she would probably throw a shoe at anybody who trifled with her sweets. Of course it would be much more likely that she would just resign herself to another round of candy-picking if any rogue actually did see fit to separate her from her candy. She sighed heavily, moving her shining eyes up from the paper bag and to the back of the student standing in front of her. That crazy mop of hair elicited a smile from Dulais. That smile would have been a happy giggle if she'd only been the sort of girl who giggled in public, and even as it was she stifled the smile as soon as she realized it's existence. She supposed it wasn't very nice to smile behind people's backs, they might not realize you were smiling out of good humor and not...making fun of them or something.

She knew who the mop belonged to. He was in her year, after all. In fact Dulais knew most of the people at Aegnor, even if she seemed to escape their notice quite completely. She wrenched her left hand from it's grip on the candy bag and used it to gently tap the shoulder of the boy who had just finished paying. It was an almost unheard-of action from the timid girl, but she figured that Dyrk and Dovabelle weren't there to do it for here. "Hallo, Fenris." she said softly, hoping she hadn't startled him or anything. She had a way of accidentally sneaking up on people, and whenever she happened to startle them she couldn't help but ending up startled herself. "Are you feeding you sweet tooth, too?" She held up her bag of sweets, waiting her own turn to pay for her sugary treasure.
