Dueling Club

Club Description: An age-old tradition at Aegnor, the purpose of the dueling club is to give students a safe and nurturing environment to work on the more offensive aspects of their powers. It is also a great stress reliever. Students of all ages are encouraged to join the club, and members are placed in duels based on their age and skill. Members are allowed to petition to duel against another member of their choice, and these petitions are usually granted unless there is a large difference in skill. Throughout the year, large group duels take place in the Competition Stadium, and at the end of the year a huge tiered competition takes place and the strongest students at Aegnor are awarded fabulous prizes.

Club Meetings: Dueling Club meets every other week on Thursday nights, and club meetings consist of duels (both formal and informal) and training given by other members.

Fighting Style: Full-out offensive. Quick, powerful attacks that give opponents little time to prepare themselves for his onslaught. He can also completely disregard mot fire-based attacks owing to his ability to eat fire.

Name: Dyrk Melwasúl
Year: Helyanwë
Element: Ultimate
Fighting Style: Dyrk is probably one of the few fighters whose really gotten a good grasp of both offense and defense. He's also a duelist that can use more than one power at a time, so while he may defend himself with one element, he'll always strategically attack with the element that weakens his opponent. Perhaps his status as an Ultimate makes him an unfair opponent, so sometimes he'll choose one element and only one element to use per battle if he's fighting singles. If he's to fight doubles, he'll do two. It's only when he feels it's fair that he really pulls out all the stops.

Name: June Korrander.
Year: Celebrimbor.
Element: Metal.
Fighting Style: Being a quick-thinker, and even a faster runner- June is more offensive than defensive. She has the capability to become equal in both areas, but she just hasn't figured it out yet. The way she attacks people varies on how she see's a person, either her first blow being the most cripling- or attacking over and over again until the other person decides to give up. Due to her persistence and unwillingness to lose, June either always ties with a person or wins- making her an extremely annoying opponent.

Name: Guinevere Kelsun
Year: Silmarwen
Element: Fire / Water
Fighting Style: A massively offense-oriented girl, Vere mostly focuses on power and much more than accuracy. She's no idiot, however. She will use both elements at her disposal to effectively destroy her opponent, and to play by their weaknesses. She does not usually hold back her power, and tends to cause floods and explosions left and right -- she has not yet grasped how to control and restrain her abilities. Vere cannot defend others at all -- and her way of protecting herself is to attack before the opponent can.
Leadership Position? Vere is not interested in a leadership position.
